Online or Classroom Tuition: What Actually Differs
Less than people assume, if the online class is live and the written work is still marked.
The thing that makes tuition work is a teacher seeing a student's written work and correcting it. If an online class is live, small, and still collects and marks written work, it differs from a classroom mainly in travel time. If it is a recording, it is a different product entirely.
The question to ask any online class
Is it live, and is written work collected and returned marked?
If the answer to either is no, you are buying video, not tuition. Video is useful and cheap, but it cannot notice that a student has stopped following.
What classroom genuinely adds
A room where a confused expression is visible from the front. Peers who ask the question your child was too shy to ask. Fewer distractions than a laptop at home.
For younger students especially, the structure of physically going somewhere to study is worth something real.
What online genuinely adds
Travel time back, which for a Class 12 student in exam season is not a small thing.
Access for students who do not live in Ahmedabad at all, including families abroad.
How we run it
