Darshit Sir Institute

Frequently asked questions

The questions parents actually ask.

Answered plainly. Where we do not have a checked answer, we say so instead of guessing.

Where is Darshit Sir Institute located?
Mangal Tirth Complex, above Gopi Dairy, Dharnidhar Cross Road, near Shreyas Flyover, Paldi, Ahmedabad 380007. It is a short distance from the Shreyas flyover and easy to reach from most of west Ahmedabad.
Which classes and exams does the institute teach?
Class 11 and 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology), a separate repeater batch for Class 12 Science, GUJCET, DDCET for diploma-to-degree engineering entrance, and IIT JEE. The institute also offers subject tutoring for civil engineering and electrical engineering students.
Are the classes online or in person?
Both. Every course is taught in person at the Paldi centre and also live online, with the same teacher and the same written work. Students outside India are taught live too, with timings agreed around your timezone before you enrol.
Do you teach in Gujarati medium or English medium?
Both. Gujarat Board students are taught in Gujarati medium or English medium, whichever the student studies in. CBSE is taught in English. Tell us the board and the medium when you enquire and the student is placed accordingly.
Is the written work still checked in an online batch?
Yes. Work is submitted, marked by hand and returned, exactly as in the classroom. This is the part most online coaching drops, and it is the part that makes the difference.
Are the online classes live or recorded?
Live. A recording cannot notice that a student has stopped following, and it cannot mark their written work. Online batches are taught live, by Darshit Sir, in the same small batch sizes as the classroom.
Who teaches the classes?
Darshit Bhatt teaches the batches himself. He is an Instrumentation and Control engineer with a master's degree and a chartered degree, and has taught in Ahmedabad since 2006.
How long has the institute been running?
Since 2006, which is about twenty years, at the same centre in Paldi.
How big are the batches?
Batches are deliberately kept small so that the teacher can track each student individually. Current batch sizes and available seats change through the year, so please ask when you enquire.
How do I enrol?
Call or message the institute, or visit the centre in Paldi. Darshit Sir will talk to the student, understand where they currently stand, and recommend the right batch.
Questions we are not answering here yet: What are the fees?, When do new batches start?, Is there a trial or demo class?. A wrong answer about fees or timings is worse than no answer, so please ask directly.

Still have a question?

Ask Darshit Sir directly. You will get the real answer, including when it is not the one you hoped for.
