How Darshit Sir Institute handles your information on this website.

What this website collects

This website has no server-side application, no login, no student portal and no database. It does not create an account for you and it cannot, because there is nothing to create one in.

The enquiry form on this website does not send your details to us. When you press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with the details you typed already written into a message. You choose whether to send it. Until you do, the information has not left your device.

What is stored on your own device

The Syllabus Progress Tracker saves the chapters you tick in your browser's local storage, on that device only. It is never transmitted to us and it will not appear on another phone or computer. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Nothing else is stored.

What happens when you use the enquiry form

The short form on this website stores nothing. It does not send anything to our server, it sets no cookie, and there is no database behind it. What you type is used only to open WhatsApp with the message already written, and nothing leaves your phone until you press send there.

Once you do press send, your message reaches us through WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to it. We use what you send only to answer your enquiry and to discuss batches with you.

What happens once you message us

If you send the WhatsApp message, your details reach us through WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to that message. We use what you send only to answer your enquiry and to discuss batches with you.

We do not sell, rent or share enquiry details with anyone.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses two measurement tools, on every page. Google Analytics 4 counts visits and tells us which pages people actually read. Microsoft Clarity records how a page was used, so we can see where a menu or a form confused somebody and fix it.

Both set cookies in your browser. Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga; Clarity sets cookies named _clck and _clsk. They tell us how the website is being used. They are not advertising cookies, we run no advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share this data with anyone.

We never send your name, your phone number or anything you type into an enquiry form to either tool. Enquiries reach us on WhatsApp, which these tools cannot see.

Neither tool runs until you say yes. On your first visit a small card asks permission, and until you answer it, no measurement cookie is set. If you say no, nothing is set at all and we keep that answer. Nothing on this website is withheld from you for saying no.

You can change your mind at any time: the “Cookie choices” button at the bottom of every page reopens the card. Blocking cookies in your browser, or using a private window, also works.

If you want us to delete measurement data associated with your visit, message the number on the contact page and we will action it.

Children's information

Most enquiries concern a student who is a minor, and are made by a parent or guardian. Please send only what is needed to discuss a batch: a name, a class and one contact number is enough.

Your rights

You can ask us what enquiry information we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Message the number on the contact page and we will action it.

Talk to the teacher, not a counsellor.

Bring the student's last two report cards. You will get an honest read on where they stand and which batch actually helps, from the person who will do the teaching.
